Services & Investment

Documenting your family as you are right now - in all of its closeness and character - is an investment in memories that will only grow more meaningful as the years go by.

Below you’ll find my available portrait offerings. I also offer seasonal mini sessions (not listed below). Additionally, if you are envisioning something more tailored, including extended family or a more customized session, I would love to create an experience designed specifically for you and your family's needs.

Please reach out directly to inquire about custom quotes and availability. I look forward to creating something truly timeless together.

Newborn

From $495
Calm, never rushed, baby-led.

Newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your own home or can be held outdoors in the summer months. They are peaceful and baby-led. We take our time with plenty space for feeding, soothing & cuddling - all of which I'm happy to document if you'd like.

These images are soft and timeless - the perfect way to capture these sacred and fleeting days.

Maternity

From $325

TIMELESS. ORGANIC. Sacred.

Held outdoors in beautiful natural light or in the comfort of your home, maternity sessions are relaxed and thoughtfully guided while still leaving space for spontaneity.

These images are organic and timeless — an honest reflection of this transformative chapter before you meet your baby.

Family

From $350

Connected. Authentic. Joyful.

Family sessions are relaxed and gently posed, with plenty of space for the real moments to unfold.

I’ll offer simple direction to bring everyone together, then step back and let your family simply be. A mother holding her child’s hand. A toddler stopping to smell the flowers. A dad scooping up his little one for a tickle and a laugh. The in-between moments that often mean the most.

There’s no pressure for perfection — just connection. Movement, cuddles, giggles, and the quiet tenderness woven throughout it all.

These images are warm and timeless, blending beautifully composed portraits with the honest, fleeting moments that tell the true story of your family.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. WHAT TYPE OF PHOTOGRAPHY DO YOU SPECIALIZE IN?

I specialize in natural light, lifestyle photography for families and newborns. My work is rooted in connection — honest moments, refined composition, and a soft, timeless aesthetic. Sessions are relaxed and thoughtfully guided while still allowing space for genuine interaction.

2. WHERE DO SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?

Newborn sessions take place in your home, where your family is most comfortable. In-home sessions create imagery that feels personal, meaningful, and beautifully authentic. Newborn sessions can also be held outdoors during warm days when the weather allows.

Other portrait sessions can be held outdoors at a carefully selected location in the greater St. Louis area or in your home. I’m happy to recommend locations that align with the look and feel you envision.

3. Do you offer extended family sessions?

Yes, I offer extended family sessions for gatherings that include grandparents, adult siblings, or multiple family groups photographed together. Because these sessions involve additional groupings, coordination, and coverage beyond a standard family session, they are custom quoted. Please inquire for a personalized proposal.

4. What should we wear to our session?

Wardrobe plays a beautiful role in the overall feel of your images. I recommend soft, neutral tones and subtle textures that photograph timelessly and allow your connection to remain the focus.  Coordinating colors, rather than perfectly matching, creates depth and visual harmony. See seasonal suggestions below. And please know I'm happy to offer styling guidance and/or review outfit selections after you book!

Spring: Soft pastels, creamy neutrals, subtle florals, lightweight textures, flowy dresses

Summer: Warm neutrals, muted blues & greens, simple patterns, breathable fabrics, linens

Fall/Winter: Rich neutrals, deep muted tones, seasonal textures, subtle patterns, layers

Frequently Asked Questions

5. IS A RETAINER REQUIRED TO BOOK?

Yes. A non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your session date. Your date is not held until the retainer is received and your contract is signed. The retainer is applied toward your total session investment and secures my availability exclusively for your family. Because I accept a limited number of sessions each month, this ensures every client receives a thoughtful, unhurried experience. The remaining balance is due prior to your session date.

6. WHAT IS INCLUDED IN YOUR SESSION FEES?

Each session includes your time with me, a curated gallery of professionally edited high-resolution digital images, and a print release for personal use.

7. CAN I REQUEST SPECIFIC POSES OR SHOTS?

You’re always welcome to share meaningful ideas or must-have combinations ahead of your session. I love knowing what matters most to you. However, or safety and stylistic reasons, I do not offer posed newborn setups such as the “froggy pose” or other heavily posed studio styles. Additionally, I do not alter my shooting or editing style, as consistency in artistry is what ensures the timeless, cohesive look you see throughout my portfolio. When you book with me, you’re trusting my creative vision — and I promise to capture your family in a way that feels both authentic and beautifully elevated.

8. How long till I receive the final photos?

You can expect your fully edited gallery to be delivered via an online gallery link within 1–3 weeks of your session date. Any deviation from this timeline will be communicated in advance.

Frequently Asked Questions

9. When is the best time to schedule newborn photos?

Newborn sessions typically take place within the first 2–3 weeks after birth, when babies are still sleepy and naturally curled. Newborn sessions are best reserved during your second trimester to ensure availability around your due date. Because due dates can shift (I'm a post-date mama myself), I pencil you in based on your estimated date and finalize once your little one arrives. Booking early guarantees space on my calendar during this fleeting season.

I'm also happy to photograph Fresh 48 sessions (in the hospital or at your home in the case of a homebirth or early release). If you're interested in a Fresh 48 session, please reach out for a custom quote.

10. WHEn is the best time to schedule maternity photos?

Maternity sessions are ideally photographed between 28–34 weeks. However, I am happy to photograph you at any stage in your pregnancy - this is all about when you feel most confident and comfortable. I recommend booking during your second trimester to secure your preferred date.

I'm also happy to photograph pregnancy announcements and gender reveals. These sessions don't always require a full session, please inquire for a custom quote if interested in either one of these sessions.

11. What if my children don't cooperate?

This is completely normal and honestly expected. Children are wonderfully unpredictable. I approach every session with patience and flexibility, working with your children the way they are, not the way we hope they’ll behave. I aim to keep sessions relaxed and playful so kids can move, explore, and be themselves. It's not uncommon for me to suggest that you take your little one on a walk, shake the sillies out, or just lay down with them for a while. Often the most beautiful images come from those natural, unscripted moments.

12. Do you travel for sessions?

I love photographing families in meaningful places and am always open to traveling for sessions. I’m based in the greater St. Louis area, and locations within about an hour of West County are generally included. Sessions beyond that distance may require a travel fee depending on the location.

If you have a special place in mind, I would love to hear about it. Please reach out and I’ll be happy to provide a custom quote so we can plan a session that feels perfect for your family.
